The Company did recruit continuously for Marketing Representatives.
The Company hired two persons as the result of that effort. Applicants = 34

Most of the 34 applicants were the result of recruitment through the Wisconsin Job Service which serves all of Wisconsin and is accessible to anyone with Internet capability. The two persons hired were the result of the Wisconsin Job Service. Sources also used were the Cub Radio website, on air ads on WCUB and WLTU, the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association’s Website and Wisconsin Broadcasters Association’s newsletter.

Recruitment sources used were “All Access.com” job site, Wisconsin Broadcasters Association’s web site (which is available to all colleges in the state of Wisconsin and other exchange employment activities with the WBA. Ads were also posted in house at Cub Radio. Personal contacts in the broadcast and related industry were informed of the opening and asked for their help in referring any candidates that they felt would qualify. One applicant was procured this way. 29 applicants came through All Access. As a result of the in house ads at Cub Radio, an employee was hired from a part time position to fill this full time position of Co-Host/Program Director.

Dates of Job Fairs – 1/23/07 & 6/20/07. Brief Description: Students of WI Universities looked at broadcast opportunities.
Ran ads on WCUB and WLTU from 1/1/07 to 1/21/07 and 6/6/07 to 6/19/07 announcing the upcoming Career Fairs. Lee Davis & Nancy Rutherford attended a Work Shop at the WBA on January 23, 2007 entitled “Nondiscrimination and Outreach in Hiring – Part 3”. Lee Davis & Nancy Rutherford attended a Seminar entitled “Equal Employment Opportunity Milestones” at the WBA Summer Convention in Minocqua on 6/20/07.

WCUB and WLTU ran ads during the Christmas Holiday of 2006 inviting visitors home for the holidays to call the Radio Stations if interested in moving home and working at Cub Radio.
Ads were also run 1/1/07 to 1/21/07 promoting the January Job Fair and again ads were run 6/6/07 to 6/19/07 promoting the June Job Fair sponsored by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.
Ads were also run 1/18/07 to 2/15/07 announcing the Sesac Scholarship and how to find out about this opportunity.
Letters were sent to Recruitment Sources and Women’s organizations on 3/15/07 and again on 7/10/2007, informing them that we had employment openings for Sales Representatives and for a Program Director/Co-Host.
Ad data on WBA Scholarships was run – including $100.00 payments every two years. The General Manager serving as a screening judge of all applicants.
In April 2007, WCUB contacted Roncalli High School searching for an individual who could check a number of our computers to determine if they were worth fixing and if so he could repair them. Roncalli High School recommended a student who was hired for that purpose and helped with this project over the next several months on a contract basis.

There are 12 full-time employees at the Radio Station as of 7/23/07.
The following four activities will be implemented by the next filing deadline of the Station’s FCC Form 397 Statement of Compliance:
1 – Participate in at least one job fair with businesses or professional organizations whose members include substantial numbers of women & minorities.
2 – Participate in scholarship programs directed to students desiring to pursue a career in broadcasting.
3 – List each upper-level job opening in a job bank or media newsletter that reaches substantial numbers of women and minorities.
4 – Train management personnel in methods to ensure equal employment opportunities and prevent discrimination.
